IA & UI: A one-day workshop on understanding working with content and user interfaces
The phrase “Content is King” has never been more true than it is today. At the core of almost any web site or application, there is the goal of delivering content to the end user. Understanding and organizing this content is crucial to the success of any web project. Equally as important as content is the user interface. Without an intuitive and accessible interface, the user will not be able to easily find and retrieve the content you worked so hard on putting together.
This one-day workshop is designed to provide a through understanding of Information Architecture and modern web User Interfaces. We go over in depth how to gather and organize content for any web project. We then look at how to develop a highly effective User Interface based on the IA.
