Sr. Programmer (PHP/JavaScript) (Full-time / contract)

Location: SF Bay Area, CA

LitmusBox is expanding. We’re looking for a full-time, SF Bay Area (SF-Monterey) – based Senior Programmer to work remotely and take on day-to-day management of a wide range of projects and contractors.

Required personal qualities:

  • Be able to step up and take full responsibility for delivering projects
  • Manage contractors and seek help from the partners as needed
  • Have at least 5 years web development experience
  • Experience managing multiple, diverse projects
  • Experience working with corporate clients or working in a corporate environment
  • Excellent communication skills and highly responsive
  • Leadership skills but can also focus on programming
  • A basic understanding of design

Expert level skills in:

  • PHP
  • mySQL
  • javascript
  • HTML5
  • MVC frameworks
  • Data modeling

Good skills in:

  • HTML/CSS
  • WordPress (including plugins)
  • Troubleshooting/problem solving
  • UX (not design)

Additional desired skills:

  • .Net
  • Web server maintenance/IT
  • Responsive Design Layout
  • Information Architecture
